SCULPTURE

Students will have the opportunity to have an introduction to the History of Greek Art, Drawing, Prototypes in Wax, Making of Molds, Casting in Different Media, Carving in Marble, and Sculpting.

Also the student will be introduced to the Art of Vase Manufacturing on the Wheel with Clay and Printing as per B.C. Classical Period of Greece.

Students are responsible to buy/pay for their own materials

OPERATIONS OF THE AQUARIUM/MUSEUM (Rhodes)

Limited internships for students who have the opportunity to learn

A. Operation of the Aquarium-Museum

- Handling of organisms
- Support of the operation of the Aquarium-Museum

B. Research Activities (Field, Laboratory

- Collection of organisms
- Observing the sea water quality at a coastal ecosystem of Rhodes

C. Recording of morphological characteristics of coastal zone

D. Other research activities

Veterinary Medicine

Students with an interest in biology, animal science, or pre-vet have the opportunity to work with local rescue groups and veterinarians while being introduced to the world of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine. Students would be responsible to purchase their own scrubs.
